My Smart Dose has a 24/7 Helpline. Call 844-307-1760 right now to talk with peers who’ve been through addiction to prescription drugs—and are now in recovery. They’ll provide facts, resources, and encouragement to help you get your life back.

If you or a friend are experiencing a drug overdose, get help NOW. It’s an emergency. Call (or have someone call) 911.

Maybe your friend or roommate has been acting strangely. Maybe you’ve noticed that pills prescribed for you have gone missing. Maybe they’re starting arguments or missing classes. They may be abusing prescription drugs.

You can be their lifeline. Talk to them. If they won’t talk to you, talk to someone you trust: a mutual friend, or a teacher. Help is always available at our 24/7 Helpline. Call 844-307-1760.
If things seem fine, don’t wait. Talk to your child about the dangers of using drugs that aren’t prescribed for them. Don’t leave pills or medicine where they can get to them.

If you suspect your child may be abusing prescription drugs, take action now. You know your child well enough to notice:
  • Changes in behavior, their grades, or their daily routines
  • They’ve stopped talking to you or their friends
  • They’re no longer interested in things that used to interest them
Talk to them about what you’re seeing. Even if they refuse to listen, there are people you can contact for help.

You don’t have to face addiction alone. There are healthcare providers trained to treat those who’ve abused prescription drugs. Find one near you here.
